Swindon Passes GO!

The new official MONOPOLY board for Swindon is launched at STEAM

The new official MONOPOLY board for Swindon was launched in spectacular style today at STEAM Museum.

The official ceremony revealed the identities of the twenty-two Swindon landmarks appearing on the property sites on the board – which replace the likes of Mayfair, The Old Kent Road and Trafalgar Square.

We were there to capture the unveiling, then headed out in to Swindon town centre to find out what people thought.

So if you're dying to know which Swindon landmark has replaced Mayfair then press play now!

Earlier in the year, when news that a board would be produced was announced, the great Swindon public was invited to vote as to which town property landmarks should be selected to swap places with the famous London sites and sights.

The brand new MONOPOLY: Swindon Edition will be available online – as well as at the following retailers: Smyths, Toys R Us, WH Smith, The Works and Waterstones. Winning Moves UK already report that inquiries to buy the new board have come in from all over the world including Australia, US and Canada.
