Swindon Stiltwalkers on TV 

They're BIG, VERY BIG but did you spot their small day-time appearance on BBC1 this week?

 

You've probably seen them at events around Swindon in the last few years, towering up above us all.

 

But if you were very eagled-eyed watching day-time TV today on BBC1 you may well have spotted the Swindon Stiltwalkers making a fleeting appearance on the very popular show WPC 56.

 

Looking back at the footage it's difficult not to notice one half of Swindon's stiltwalking duo on screen.

 

 

Phoenix Stewart, who appeared, said: "Considering we are both self-taught it's great we are able to use are skills for some really fun and interesting jobs!"

 

Emily Smith, who runs Swindon Stiltwalkers, as well as Emily's Pole Fitness, couldn't make it because of work commitments but was still delighted to be featured.

 

"It was unfortunate timing because we've been super busy with aerial hoop, conditioning classes, silks plus everything else," she told us.

 

"But I'm not complaining. It was just great to see Phoenix on stilts showing off what we can do."
