The Most Rev in Swindon

It's Lydiard Park... and a quick stop off at Arkell's Brewery for The Archbishop of Canterbury - PICS

Justin Welby visited Swindon on Saturday, 13 September as part of a three-day visit to the Diocese of Bristol.

The Archbishop of Canterbury first visited Lydiard House in West Swindon to cut the ribbon to officially announce the start of Heritage Open days at Lydiard Park before taking a tour of the adjacent St Mary's church, Walled Garden and meeting community groups.

Accompanied by the Bishop of Swindon, Mr Welsby then moved on to enjoy a whistle stop tour of Arkell's Brewery.
