A Grand Day For Commonweal 

Old Town School takes delivery of Jamie Cullum's 40k piano - SEE PICTURES

It was smiles all round in Old Town yesterday as The Commonweal School took delivery of a Grand Piano belonging to none other than Jamie Cullum!
 
Swindon's very own jazz sensation chose the school ahead of 150 other applicants, and the prize was presented officially during Sunday's Andrew Marr Show on the BBC.
 
As well as meeting the jazz musician, the GCSE music students even got to mingle with Prime Minister David Cameron backstage!
 
The Piano finally arrived in Swindon yesterday afternoon, and after carefully negotiating a flight of stairs it was home at last!
