Lorry crash leaves a busy Swindon junction strewn with cash - SEE PICTURES
 
Bags of coins scattered a road in West Swindon this afternoon following an incident shortly after 1.30pm.
 
The Loomis lorry, which had been transporting close to £1m worth of cash spilled its load after breaking hard at the entry to the Renault roundabout in West Swindon.
 
Armed officers were called in to guard the precious cargo, as cleanup teams did their best to recover the strewn money.
 
Although traffic was disrupted for close to two-hours, the road has now been re-opened by police.
