Vote For Richard Jefferies Museum!

Help save this wonderful museum at Coate Water

VOTING ENDS AT MIDNIGHT ON WED 12 OCTOBER

People are being urged to support one of the most historical places in Swindon as it faces an uncertain future.

The Richard Jefferies Museum at Coate Water has been shortlisted for an Historic England Angel Award.

The small museum is a unique gem, brimming with history in both its fabric and in its collection of artefacts relating to Victorian writer Richard Jefferies who lived there.

Winning the award and the extra funding it would bring would make a massive difference as the Richard Jefferies Museum Trust campaign to save the museum at Coate Water from sale by Swindon Borough Council.

A lease has been agreed, but money is urgently needed for its ongoing running and upkeep.
