Snow Joke On The Swindon Roads! 

Police urge drivers to take extra care during #snowmageddon

 

This was the scene near Liddington Hill this morning, as the recent 'beast from the east' cold snap took its toll on Swindon's roads.

 

Accidents in West Swindon & near Stanton Fitzwarren were also reported, with drivers caught out by sudden icey conditions.

 

And with the weather forecast to be at its worst this evening & Friday, Wiltshire Police are urging drivers to take care.

 

"Only make your car journey if it's absolutely necessary" is the advice.
