Chick this out!

The Mayor enjoys a morning at Roves Farm

Swindon's Mayor Cllr Michael Barnes at Roves Farm in Swindon
With springtime fast approaching, and half-term week well under way, we thought we'd take a trip to the popular Roves Farm in Sevenhampton.

As we made our way around the chicks, piglets and lambs, we caught the Mayor of Swindon cuddling up to a few of the newborns!

Cllr. Michael Barnes and his wife Sue spent the morning admiring Rupert Burr's young animals, even taking the chance to bottle-feed a three-week old lamb.

But don't worry, he played fair and let some of the children have a go too!
