Swindon College opened its doors to sports fanatics across the town last night, giving prospective students the chance to sample a bit of what's on offer.
So whether you're looking to pursue a career in leisure and fitness, or you simply want to try something new, there has never been a better time to take the plunge.
Courses vary from sports science to massage therapy, and Swindon College have all sorts of vocational subjects on offer, with many available on a full- or part-time basis.
19-year-old Alex Pawlowski, is a great success story. Having completed courses in Level 2 Fitness and Level 3 Personal Training, Alex is now a personal trainer at Centre Fitness, and will be going on to university later this year to pursue his dream of becoming a pilot.
He told us: “It's been a great stepping stone, and a fantastic opportunity to learn the skills of the job. I got my personal training job at Centre Fitness through the course, and I would recommend it to anyone.”
