Swindon College Media Make-Up Show 2007 

The Circus and the Rainforest formed the inspiration for Swindon College's year end Media Make-up show this week.

Over one hundred people packed into the college's new theatre at North Star to witness costumes and looks created by year one and year two students taking the BTEC National Diploma course.

Assorted theatrical designs with titles as diverse as 'Pink Lightening', 'Ring Mistress', 'Arachnid Attack' and 'Psodien's Waterfall' just a few of the highlights of a catwalk showcase that lasted just over an hour.

"It's been a marvellous effort," said Elouise Baskerville, Media and Make-up Lecturer, "a fantastic example of what the students here can achieve, many of whom will hopefully go on to pursue successful careers in the fashion industry."
