Robins slip up despite yet another massive haul from Adams

If this was a 'must-win' fixture for the Swindon Robins then it piles the pressure on for the visit of Poole Pirates this Thursday.

Swindon remaining in third place in the Sky Sports Elite League after this defeat, despite another incredible haul from Leigh Adams.

The Aussie rider doing his utmost to grab victory for the Robins in the final heat after securing a tactical 8-1 in the round before to close up an eight-point gap.

But teammate Korneliussen could only finish third and bottom of the league Wolverhampton celebrated an unlikely victory.

"Top two in the League is where we've got to be, no question," said a refective team manager Alun Rossiter, "and we need to start winning to get back up there."
