Robins back on track after 5 point victory

 

Swindon got back to winning ways last night with a well-deserved victory over Ipswich at the Abbey Stadium.

 

After an early fourteen point lead, the Robins held their position comfortably until heat seven when the Witches performed a well-worked tactical ride - eventually narrowing Swindon's lead to just three points after heat twelve.

 

However, a race fourteen 4-2 from Troy Batchelor and guest rider Krzystof Stojanowski was enough to seal victory.

 

Robins skipper Leigh Adams achieved an impressive paid fourteen point haul to underpin Swindon's success.

 

Swindon are now just two points behind Elite league leaders Poole.
