First three signings for 2008/2009 season 

Swindon Wildcats announce first three signings for 2008/2009 season!!

The Swindon Wildcats are delighted to announce their first three new signings for the 2008/2009 Ice Hockey season. Matty Davies, Lee Richardson and Michael Farn.

 

All three signings featured in the recent exciting Wildcats Play off Push . Matty Davies is a fantastic re-signing for the Wildcats following on from a hugely successful 2007/2008 season where he scored 62 points for the Link centre based team. At just 18 years of age Matty is rated as one of the best British players in the league and plays for Great Britain U 20's.

 

Lee Richardson one of the most experienced players in the team returns for his second year back in Swindon after stints with Elite League clubs Coventry and Cardiff. Richardson is a local lad and a product of the Wildcats youth system.

 

Michael Farn is another one of the Wildcats young chargers from the 2007/08 season at just 20 years of age. Hailing from the North East Farn is very popular youngster with the Wildcats fan base and also plays for the Great Britain U 20 team.

 

Swindon Wildcats Head Coach Peter Russell was overjoyed with his first signings "It is great to announce our first trio of signings. Both Michael and Matty are very talented young players with a big future in the sport. Lee is another fantastic signing for us. Being such a young team we need the more experienced players like Lee in the team and I know he is glad to be back playing for his home town team."
