Swindon Wildcats strengthen their defence
Euan Forsyth signs for Wildcats
Swindon Wildcats Ice Hockey are delighted to confirm that they have secured the services of 23 year-old Euan Forsyth for their 2008/09 English Premier Ice Hockey League campaign.
Forsyth joins the Wildcats having spent last season as a key defensive component of the Chelmsford Chieftains club.
The young Scot made his senior debut in 2002 with the Fife Flyers in the now-defunct British National League, during which time he won Gold with the GB Under 18s and was also part of the GB Under 20s challenge for the 2005 World Championships.
"Euan comes to us off the back of a good season at Chelmsford," said Head Coach Peter Russell. "He racked up a healthy 24 points from defence. He has good size, skill, and vision on the ice and has a great character; he'll add to our team both on and off of the ice.
