The Saracen's Head Hotel, Highworth

 

 

The Saracen's is one of Arkell's oldest pubs and well-known for its good pub food. Its rear terrace also faces just the right way to catch the heat of the sun but with plenty of canopies to stay nice and cool for sipping and serving lunchtime lite bites & English classics in the evening.

 

 

The Angel Hotel, Wootton Bassett

 

 

The Angel Hotel in Royal Wootton Bassett sources much of its food locally, and when the sun's out, its well kept courtyard terrace makes the ideal place to enjoy a tipple and a nibble. Expect food that's generous and unpretentious and available all day.

  

 

The Sun Inn, Swindon

The Runner, Swindon

 

 

The Runner on Wootton Bassett Road in Swindon underwent a complete transformation a couple of years ago, and its garden and terrace is just made for summer. You'll find a covered patio area overlooking the meandering River Ray below, so it's no wonder that al fresco dining at The Runner is proving such a popular pastime for lunch-breakers, families and couples alike.
