Political Heavyweights

Political heavyweights visiting in Swindon this year

You know it's election time when all the political faces you normaly see on TV are suddenly right here in person in Swindon.

As we all know, the Swindon North and South seats are seen as 'must win' constituencies for both Conservative and Labour if either party is to form the next government.

So far we have had the PM himself Gordon Brown making a high profile visit just after Conservative leader David Cameron chose The Sun Inn and Coate Water to make a major policy launch.

Both of which occasions SwindonWeb was right on the spot to cover the events as they happened.
