Just when we've all recovered from the festive onslaught that is Christmas, it's hard to believe that the time for big cuddly bunny rabbits and chocolate eggs is virtually upon us!
To keep you busy we've put together our guide of what's happening over Easter in Swindon.

Friday 30 March & Saturday 31 March
between 11.00am & 3.00pm
Easter at The Brunel Swindon
Children will have the opportunity to meet the cheeky Easter Bunny in the upper level of The Plaza between 11am and 3pm.
Easter Egg Trails
Pretend you want some Sunday morning exercise, and then ask your kids to come with you! Tell them it's an Easter Egg hunt, and they'll say yes.
Easter Trail at the Swindon Designer Outlet
Good Friday to 15 April
Easter Lindt Bunny Trail, where kids and adults can hunt out six Easter characters dotted around the centre. Complete the trail and discover all six characters for a sweet Lindt chocolate bunny treat!
Egg Hunt at The Royal Oak, Bishopstone
Easter Sunday, 01 April, 10.30am - 1.00pm
The annual Royal Oak Easter egg hunt is loved by children and adults alike. There will be a tractor and trailer ride to the hunt.
The cost is £10.00 per car/family.
Both the egg hunt and pub will be busy so please book in advance.
Purton Organics Easter Egg Treasure Hunt
Saturday 07 April, 10.00am - 4.00pm
Come and celebrate the arrival of spring on the farm, meet the new lambs, plus the athe kids can join in with an eggs-citing Easter egg hunt! The treasure hunt costs £2.00 per child.
Great Lydiard Park Easter Trail
Sunday 01 April 2018 10.00am to 4.00pm
Hop into Easter at Lydiard Park!
The trail begins at the Coach House Activity Centre and you’ll travel round the lakes, woodlands and lawns. Search for clues hidden around the park to claim your Easter surprise.
£4.00 per child.

This trail is becoming a real Easter tradition, so why not join in and look around this lovely market town and see who you can spot.
The theme this year is 'TV Programmes from the 20th Century'
Entry forms will be available in the week before the trail begins from the Lighthouse Bookshop, Allen & Harris, the Saracen’s Head Hotel and the Goldfinger Tavern.

The Easter Egg-Spress!
Good Friday - Monday 02 April 2018
Enjoy a steam train ride and visit the Easter Bunny handing out Easter Eggs in his specially decorated grotto. FREE chocolate egg for each child.
Coate Water Minature Railway
Trains are running all four days over Easter: Good Friday to Bank Holiday Monday, 11am to 5pm.
Just one of the many reasons to visit Coate Water with all the family, voted Swindon's favourite place.
Meet the Animals
Lots of new borns to see at this time of year in and around Swindon - including wallabies!
Lambs, Otters and Meerkats in Swindon Studley Grange
If Easter Weekend has a spot of rain, don't worry!
Get a taste of the tropics at Studley Grange. They've got hundreds of butterflies flying about plus loads more to see and do including a display of mini beats including snakes!
Their outdoor animal paddock includes new-born lambs, otters, meerkats, ducks, geese, rabbits and new kid goats. The next door craft village is also a great place to explore.

Easter Bunny Chase and Much, Much More!
FREE Tractor and Trailer Rides will take visitors on an adventure to find the Easter Bunny for the ever popular Easter Bunny Chase - rumour has it, he has learnt some new tricks!
Children can also make Easter masks and fluffy chicks in the craft area!
As you'd expect at Easter, the lambs will be running around the farm, and there are plenty of chicks, guinea pigs and rabbits in Pets Corner for visitors to hold and stroke.
The Manor Farm Estate, Lechlade
Situated in the heart of the Cotswolds, The Manor Farm Estate in Lechlade offers fun for all the family. From their friendly farmyard animals to mountain biking, swimming, nature trails & more...
Butts Farm, South Cerney
Open from Easter to the end of September every year, Butts Farm always has plenty of hands-on activities going on incl. goat milking, bottle feeding, pony rides and chance to meet all of farm's rare breeds pigs and piglets.
And for Easter Sunday lunch why not pop in to the Butts Farm shop afterwards and take your pick of their award-winning pork, beef, lamb and chicken, perfect for a family roast.

This Easter holiday the Museum is bursting with things to see and do for all the family incl. Logo-motion & Logo Locos this year where you can make your own create your own logo and make a printing block from clay!

Saturday 31 March, 2pm onwards
Their first families day at the Webbswood Stadium takes place on Easter Saturday when they face Mangotsfield United at home. All children Under 11 will be granted free entry and all accompanying adults will only be charged £2 entry.
