Celebrate the Golden Jubilee with Arkells...

The Queen's Jubilee celebrations will no doubt be the biggest event of the year, and there will no where better to toast our Majesty and to enjoy a unique weekend than at an Arkell's pub.

Alongside our special Jubilee Ale and limited edition presentation boxes, a number of our pubs are organising all sorts of festivities and everyone is welcome!

Date: Saturday 1st June, Royal British Legion Chore of Drums Parade 3pm, following by an auction for charity
also: Monday, Barbeque & Live Music on the patio and pavement outside the pub.

Brewer's Arms, Wanborough
Date: Monday 3rd, 12pm
Starts at The Brewer's and goes to six pubs in the village and ends up at Brewer's.
Entrants must drink 1/2 pint of beer at each pub and only seven runners from each pub are allowed, because the 1/2 pint of beer at each pub is free!
New Landlady at the Brewer's, Jackie Kitchen, says: "We have seven young lads who use the bar all the time and they can't can't wait to get going as they think they'll win - or perhaps they'll just fall over first!"

The Tavern Inn, Kemble, Nr. Cirencester

Pulling out all the stops for the Golden Jubilee!
Starting with a special tea for all 120 children in the village, when each one will be presented with a commemorative Jubilee mug.
After tea there is entertainment for the children, a clay pigeon shoot for adult villagers, and pub games for those who would rather put their grey matter to good use!
With a Barbecue in the evening and live music all afternoon, Kemble Village celebrations round off at The Tavern with Fireworks at the end of the evening.
