Local favourite Andy ‘Macca’ Mccaffrey makes his debut at the M.E.C.A with Wiltshire’s biggest White Collar Boxing promoter, Neilson Promotions.
Macca brings a wealth of ring experience to Swindon as a former Kick-Boxing and White Collar Champion and more recently, entering the paid ranks as a Professional Boxer. Macca returns to the ring with a testing 4 x 2 minute round White Collar battle against Birmingham’s Stewart Tordoff, also an ex-pro who fought out of ex-world champion Riche Woodhall's stable and has also had numerous amateur and white collar fights.
White Collar action
In an exciting night of White Collar action, other fights include Swindon’s former MMA heavyweight champ Dave 'Bam Bam' Gregory, meeting Trowbridge’s big hitting Luke Martin in what is sure to be an exciting encounter.
Also featuring is another local MMA heavyweight, Rich Loveday taking on Sean Curran. In an entertaining rematch is Jake Bonner v John Jennings, their previous encounter was easily the fight of the night with both giving everything until the final bell.
Other fights include Lee Penny v Alan Harris, Mark Johnson v Marcin Janecki, Aiden Hills v Neil Pickering, Luke Boswell v Arfan Khan and a grudge match between local novices Robbie Burton v Luke Richards.
Promoter Mark Neilson said “We’re keeping the price as low as we can at only £20 a ticket, whilst still putting on as many fights as we can, as we appreciate it is tough times for fight fans. With local ex-pro and Neilson Promotions regular, referee Ricky Porter controlling the action, you can rest assured that the bouts will keep flowing and the decisions will be fair”.
The night also includes an after-party, live DJ and doors open at 7:30pm until late.
