Faded Southern belle and overbearing mother Amanda Wingfield dreams of her past, whilst fixing her hopes on a match for her shy, and awkward daughter Laura.
Attention focuses on her son Tom’s worldly work colleague Jim, as a possible suitor, but things aren’t as straight forward as they seem.
Introduced by Tom as a memory of the house of illusions in which he grew up, this modern classic is full of lyricism and humour.
