Children's Fete 2012

Face painting, arts and crafts, fairground rides and more

 

Faringdon Park is set to be transformed into a youth wonderland on Saturday 21 July

 

The 2012 Children's Fete will fill the arena with face painting, arts & crafts, fairground rides, circus skills and more.

The event was organised by the Mechanics' Institute Trust who hoped to create the marvellous atmosphere of previous Children's Fetes held in Swindon during the earlier part of the 20th century.

 

The afternoon will be filled with lots of exciting and fun activities for children including an Arts & Crafts Tent, Storytelling, an Under 5's Play Area, a Funfair, Circus Skills, Olympic Games and DJ workshops, along with Stalls for local Children's Charities, Community Organisations, Artists and Craft-makers.
