May's fantastic Olympic Torch Relay event whetted Swindon's appetite for London 2012, and the Games get underway tonight!
Swindon town centre is the place to be for all things Olympics, starting with the Opening Ceremony from the capital on
Friday 27 July.
While the London event plays out on the Big Screen, Swindon's mini Opening Ceremony will take place in Wharf Green; offering top notch local entertainment and interactive sporting activities throughout the evening.

The activity starts at 6.30pm, with a healthy number of locals expected to line the streets of the town centre to enjoy what will be a jaw-dropping spectacle.
Once the Opening Ceremony draws to a close, the Games will commence and you can enjoy all the action on the Big Screen in Wharf Green.
Food and drink will also be on sale from around the arena, and with four hours' town centre parking priced at just £2, Wharf Green is the perfect Olympic venue for all the family.
