Banana, (real name Lowell Levinger) - the original hippie from Olema was the founder member of the legendary San Francisco Bay area folk rock band The Youngbloods, whose classic recording Get Together cracked the U.S. top 5, sold over one million copies, and achieved gold record status in 1969.

Pete Cousins has a voice like it was soaked in a vat of bourbon, left hanging in the smokehouse for a few months and then taken outside and run over with a car.
