Former MP, Leader of the Greater London Council, the capital’s first elected Mayor, winner of the rights to hold the 2012 Olympics in London, and keeper of newts, Ken Livingstone is still one of the most fascinating figures in both British life and politics today.
He is the author of many key policies and two fascinating books. His first, If Voting Changed Anything, They’d Abolish It, speaks for itself, while his most recent, You Can’t Say That, goes some way towards explaining why Ken is both political maverick and improbable celebrity.
