Shaun Buswell's 121212 Underground Orchestra Challenge

On 01 January 2012, Shaun Buswell started a musical challenge to create an orchestra made up of musicians he met as strangers whilst travelling on the London Underground.

One year later, on 26 January 2013, he performed with nearly 70 musicians at one of London's top venues - Shepherd's Bush Empire all in aid of the charity Daytrippers, and gaining the interest of BBC Points West, BBC London, ITV West Country & Al Jazeera. 

This is the story of Shaun's year as told by him via the medium of:

- Filmed footage from Shaun & friends as well as documentary footage by Dead Monkey Media, UK Local TV and global news footage

- A Power Point style presentation showing amazing statistics, figures and other images of amazement from the London Underground

- A Q&A session, where you can crawl inside the mind of Shaun as he explains the reasons and methods for him doing the challenge

- Songs and singing and music and things for the ears

- And possibly a small avant garde naked dance routine (warning - may not actually include dance)

The night also will feature members of the Underground Orchestra, telling the story through their eyes, so you can find out first-hand why someone would agree to join this unique orchestra. You never know, maybe the ENTIRE orchestra will reform and take over the Vic!

This is an all-seated event, with a limited number of seats available, so buy early to avoid disappointment.
