When three local historians and writers hatched a plan to launch a brand new glossy magazine, some of their peers thought they were mad. However, a passion for their subject and the generosity of key supporters spurred them on – and Swindon Heritage was born.
Today, its founders tell of the trials and tribulations of producing a magazine that breaks new ground, but also, why Swindon Heritage is ultimately a tale of triumph and optimism for local writers and publishers.
