What makes us free, fraught, fragile, fabulous, fearful, or even frolicsome? What links us to sabre-tooth tigers, tiny mice, and the stars?
Author of nine novels, including the Booker prize-winning Famished Road, essayist, and short story writer, Ben Okri OBE now presents Wild, his first book of poems for more than a decade. His previous two were An African Elegy and Mental Flight.
In Wild, Ben Okri explores places where energy meets freedom, where art meets the elemental, and where what is wild in us is celebrated as an alternative to what is familiar.
