Local music and comedy group. Stage Struck are back at the Arts Centre for their special 30th anniversary show.
This popular amateur group first began in 1983 when Swindon music teacher Vera Bennett began Stage Struck as a forum for her pupils to perform on stage.
Since then the group have performed variety shows and pantomimes annually at both the Arts Centre and the Wyvern theatre.
This year, for their 30th anniversary show the group will be performing a traditional variety show – When I Grow Up!
The show includes comedy and songs from Les Miserables, The Addams Family, Jersey Boys and many many more. In addition there will be sing-alongs, audience participation and comedy sketches from Swindon favorites Ken Jell and Geoff Marsh.
Directed by Jane Marie Osborne, with Musical director Andre Pysanczyn.
A show not to be missed!
This show will contain innuendo, double entendre and mildly crude humour.
