Arts Centre
Old Town, Swindon
Wednesday 05 - Saturday 08 June 2013
Ray Dance & Judith Sharp present Jerry Herman and Michael Stewart’s musical, Mack & Mabel, set in 1920’s Hollywood: a time when movies were silent and cinema was magic.
With a spectacular, soaring score, famously used by Torville and Dean, Mack & Mabel is a beautiful, touching and ultimately heart-breaking story of two of Hollywood’s greatest icons: Mack Sennett, “King of Comedy” and creator of The Keystone Kops, and his star, Mabel Normand.
It is full of heartbreak, passion, laughter and great dancing. In true Sennet style, there are also a few custard pies and slapstick kops!!
Ticket Prices: £11, Concession £10
