The Black Hats + The King in Mirrors + Oui Legionnaires

Songs Of Praise Presents: Swindipendance Day!

The Vic
Old Town, Swindon
Thursday 04 July 2013

The Black Hats

Oxford's very finest yob savants - all arty edginess and hooligan anthemsFollowing the success of their double a-side release Tunnels/Blood and Space which received airplay on BBC Introducing and 6Music, Black Hats are just out of the studio having recorded with Mercury-nominated producer Sam Williams (Supergrass, Plan B, The Go Team!).

The King In Mirrors

The King in Mirrors is an ephemeral beast. More often a recording vehicle for the songs of ex-Baby Train front man Rich May but occasionally a full blown live band featuring the usual suspects, a few musical hangers on, friends and family.

Oui Legionnaires

They are vanguards of the British new indie scene. Playing with angular guitar riffs, intriguing synth parts and unexpected songwriting techniques have helped this south west band to fall onto the ears of fans all around the UK. While using their influences to their advantage, at the same time they keep a completely fresh and different perspective on song writing.
