On Friday 26 July, Quantum Theatre presents their adaptation of ‘The Tales of Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny’ on the lawn outside Lydiard House. 

With live music and all the favourite characters from the Peter Rabbit tales, the show promises a magical and enchanting experience for young and old alike.

Peter Rabbit knows that he shouldn’t go into Mr McGregor’s garden, but he can’t resist and gets into several scrapes, including losing all his clothes. 

Despite the telling-off from his mother, he goes back into the garden with Benjamin Bunny and its left to Benjamin’s father to rescue the pair.

Cllr Garry Perkins, Swindon Borough Council’s Cabinet Member responsible for Lydiard Park, said: “Lydiard Park has been offering open-air family theatre shows for many years and they’ve become a highlight of the summer holidays."

“This show is particularly aimed at a young audience and promises to be a fun and lively evening.”

The Tales of Peter Rabbit & Benjamin Bunny start at 6.30pm at Lydiard Park.

Tickets are £14 for adults, £9 for children (3 to 15 years), or £40 for a family (2 adult & 2 children) and are available via the box office on 01793 614837 or the Swindon Arts Centre (see website via link below).
