Children and families enjoyed a brilliant free day out at the Wyvern Theatre today.
Daisy the Cow, Mr Potato from Peppa Pig and The Gruffalo were the stars of the show as hundreds turned out to take a backstage tour, enjoy an illustrating class in the style of Horrible Science’s Tony De Saulles, have their face painted, enjoy live music on the podium plus listen to the story of Jack and the Beanstalk, as told by a member of this year’s pantomime cast.

The Gruffalo & Mr Potato also took part in a children's dance class at nearby Swindon Dance, who were also holding an open day.
