Fascinating Local History Open Day at Swindon Library

The central library hosted another fascinating local history open day, this time with the theme
Swindon: Heroes & Villains, which focused on interesting local people both prominent & unsung, famous & infamous, weird and wonderful!
There were stands from a number of local groups and organisations, including: The Broadgreen & Queenstown History Group, The Wiltshire Archives (Chippenham), the Wiltshire Family History Society, Alfred Williams Heritage Trust, Wroughton History group, Swindon 105.5FM, Purton Historical Society, The Swindon Society, Rodbourne Community History Group and Swindon Libraries.
