Off the back of their hilarious international debut The Zanniskinheads and the Quest for the Holy Balls, Slingshot Theatre focus their surreal eyes and quick-witted physical comedy onto the greatest birth documented... EVER!

Somewhere in deepest Suffolk lies the flat and technologically dated village of Creakebottom, home to the All-Male Amateur Dramatics Society of Creakebottom, aka the AMADSC!

A new Arts Festival brings theatrical big-hitters from "that London" to Creakebottom's bumpy hills, handing the AMADSC an unprecedented platform for their undiscovered genius and a stage for their new production: 'The Birth of Jesus'.

The AMADSC have their work cut out to say the least: Founder Gus Blathermouth believes firmly in totalitarian leadership, Cornelius Hack is plotting a coup, Wesley Biggins’ has the backbone of a processed sausage, Stibby Blot has the IQ of a cow pat, and new recruit Michael Outwit holds a secret which could divide the thespians for good.

Amidst the chaos, the players must unite to see the Christ born in Creakebottom.
