Paul Briggs, Chief Executive, Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Group, is inviting local businesses to take part in the Swindon Corporate Insight Dinner for 2014

Employers consistently tell the Chamber that there is a mismatch between what they are looking for in their staff, and the skills and attitude offered by candidates. The Prime Minister regularly refers to a global race, and the British Chambers of Commerce believes that in the 21st century, it is the countries with the most skilled workforces – both young and old – that will be the winners.
Panellists include:
Brigadier Piers Hankinson
Employer Engagement, Wessex Brigade of the Army
Recruitment of skilled ex-Army personnel - transferring to the non-military world
TeeJay Dowe
Founder, Back on Track Strategies
Development of the young workforce
