Chamber invite businesses to attend their Corporate Insite Dinner 2014

Paul Briggs, Chief Executive, Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Group, is inviting local businesses to take part in the Swindon Corporate Insight Dinner for 2014

An expert panel will scrutinize leveraging the emerging talent for Swindon. The evening will be an elite collaboration between business, the Army, a key training provider and the UTC. It will follow a round table format.

 

Employers consistently tell the Chamber that there is a mismatch between what they are looking for in their staff, and the skills and attitude offered by candidates. The Prime Minister regularly refers to a global race, and the British Chambers of Commerce believes that in the 21st century, it is the countries with the most skilled workforces – both young and old – that will be the winners.

Lifelong recruitment of skilled workers will also be examined.
