A Jolly Good Show!
Hundreds of people embraced the spirit of the Home Front on Saturday with The Great War Street Party in Swindon Town Centre
Visitors to Swindon had the chance to celebrate the more jovial side of the 1900's at the weekend with The Great War Street Party.
The event was one of many organised by inSwindon Bid Company and Swindon In The Great War to commemorate the centenary of the First World War.
A wide variety of events and activities were available for both young and old, including a number of period music and dance performances on the 2 stages erected in Wharf Green, a Poppy colouring station, and a World War I British Army Recruitment Stand with weapons, posters, equipment and accessories in the Parade.
You can view a selection of photos from this great event below.
