Ron Bateman (co-founder of the Orwell Society) presents a collection of Robert Capa's images taken throughout both the Spanish Civil War and World War II, and discusses some of the more controversial aspects of his work.

 

John Steinbeck said of Capa ‘He could show the horror of a whole people in the face of a child. His camera caught and held emotion.’ Capa is often regarded as the ‘father of photojournalism’ - this will be a unique and timely reflection on the man and his work.
