The Wiltshire Poppy Ball

STEAM will be hosting a charity event featuring the Band of HM Royal Marines

 

STEAM Museum of the Great Western Railway

Saturday 01 November 2014, 6.15pm - 1.00am

 

The Wiltshire Poppy Ball will feature the band of HM Royal Marines from Lympstone and the Military Wives Choir from Shrivenham Defence Academy, and is raising funds for Walking With The Wounded and the Royal British Legion with all proceeds from the event being split between the two charities.

The event is organised by the Rotary Club of Swindon Thamesdown to mark the 100th anniversary of the start of World War 1 and the 70th anniversary of the D Day landings.

 - 3 Course Dinner,
 - Dance Band and DJ,
 - Tombola and Auction
