Join a sponsored walk this July to raise money for Cancer Research UK

If you own a dog, or could borrow one, and would like to help raise vital funds for research into a cure for cancer this could be for you!

 

The Swindon Volunteer Group of Cancer Research UK are holding their 2nd “Best Paw Forward” sponsored dog walk on Sunday 12th July around Coate Water Park Lake.

 

Best Paw Forward 2014 raised £2,300!

 
The unique element to this event is that the dogs are raising money and not their owners! At last year’s event our faithful friends raised just over an amazing £2,300.

  
The walk will start at 11.00am and the dogs, plus their owners can walk, gently stroll or even run round the lake. There is a choice of routes to suit dogs of all abilities, which should take approx. 45 minutes to an hour.

 

To register please visit the website below. Entry costs are £10 per dogs; humans go free but must be accompanied by a dog! Each dog registered will receive a commemorative bandana, bag of doggy treats and a certificate to mark their achievement.
