Entertaining Swindon
A new exhibition at Swindon Museum & Art Gallery telling the story of the local entertainment scene

Costumes, programmes, photo’s and memories from stage shows all feature in the new exhibition Entertaining Swindon, telling the story of how the local entertainment scene has entertained Swindon from 1955 – 1985.
Visitors will be able to read stories of the different societies around in that era, most of who are still continuing strong today.
The exhibition will lead people through light opera to rock music and street theatre to variety with the chance to try on some costumes for yourself.
