Blacksmith + Lydia Twenty + In The Absence Of Light + Vicious Of The Beloved

BLACKSMITH
four piece hard rock act, once of swindon, now living in london.
recently signed a major deal to record thier debut album, and this will be thier last gig on british soil before they jet off to new york to finish the album.
inspired by acts such as guns n roses and bonjovi, they play catchy rock anthems along to an inspiring stage show. catch them before its too late.

LYDIA TWENTY
Lydia Twenty a roller coaster ride of influences and sounds. A solid, groove riding rhythm section with a mix of jangly and overdriven guitar and powerful vocals. Think of Radiohead, The Doors, 60s garage and 90s indie and that's Lydia Twenty. Something for everyone maybe?

IN THE ABSENCE OF LIGHT
The In The Light Of Absence (ITLOA) concept was first established in December 2005, with the idea of a fresh melodic sound mixing acoustic and rock with an ambient overtone. Foreseeing this great chance to mature as band members Jeremy, Peter, Daniel, Samwise and Josh sought to bring a creative reality to this concept.

VICIOUS OF THE BELOVED
EP Review
Opening up with the Black Sabbath influenced track If God Wore Spandex Seamlessly changes from verse to chorus without being samey. Next is the Head banging educing Aids vs. Predator it’s sure to start a pit near you! To my personal favourite Practice makes perfect, with a catchy as hell chorus and clever lyrics With a sudden break down that has a crazy timing but still works to the climaxing ending, this is an example of VOTB at there best.
