Sir Geoff Hurst in Swindon
World Cup hero to star at McDonald's football open day
Former England star Sir Geoff Hurst will make a guest appearance in Swindon this weekend to support a football open day.
The 1966 World Cup winner has been invited by McDonalds to support football in the community at an event organised by Swindon McDonald’s Franchisee, Paul Booth in partnership with Blunsdon Colts FC.

The free Open Day is aimed at all the family and will kick off on Saturday 24th October from 10.30am at Isambard Community School Playing Fields, The Learning Campus, Redhouse Way, Priory Vale, Swindon
McDonald’s Restaurants in and around Swindon has supported Blunsdon Colts FC since earlier this year and has already provided the club with new kit and coaching equipment through the Restaurant and Football Club Twinning Programme which provides both financial and business support for local grassroots football clubs.
