SWINDON YOUTH SLAM – stanza & deliver!

Poetry contest for the young at heart, young in mind, young in years but with wisdom beyond them!

Following wordshops run by seasoned slamsters Sara-Jane Arbury and Marcus Moore in schools across the region, Swindon’s wittiest young wordsters will perform their most slamazing poetry in a bid to reach the hearts and hearing parts of the audience.

Which versifiers will produce the goods to become Swindon’s Poet Idols and have their names on the prestigious Youth Slam Cup?

There’s all to cheer for as the student slammers prepare to teach us a thing or two through their own poetry.

So, get ready for the clash of syllables as they battle it out with nerve and verve for the ultimate title – slamtastic!

Schools taking part will be Churchfields, Commonweal, Dorcan Technology College, Greendown, Swindon Academy, Highworth Warneford, Nova Hreod, Kingsdown, Ridgeway, St Joseph’s RC, and Isambard Community School.
