The new venue will open its doors on Saturday 28 May to host the first of many comedy nights.

SEAN HUGHES

 

In 1987, Sean started doing stand-up comedy in London clubs. He became the youngest ever winner of the prestigious Perrier Award for Comedy for 'A One Night Stand With Sean Hughes' at Edinburgh Comedy Festival in 1990. Best-known to TV audiences for his long-running, stint in the mould-breaking quiz show Never Mind Buzzcocks. 'one of the best stand-ups of his generation' (Daily Telegraph).

 

RUFUS HOUND

 

Rufus Hound is a comedian and a presenter and an actor and the owner of a fine moustache. He likes: Rum, kites, tattoos, Nintendo, driving, Las Vegas (where he got married), making his kid laugh, Scrabble, television and steak. He doesn’t like: football, Westlife, Tequila, sportless exercise, leafy salad, ill-manners, the widespread disregard for the three lane motorway system and of course, hecklers..

 

BENNY BOOT

 

Boot has been performing on the UK stand-up comedy circuit for 6yrs. He is considered by many comedians as wonderful stand-up artist to watch. Boot delivers his jokes in a unique style on a variety of strange topics
