Kate Rew
Kate Rew – a freewheeling spirit and founder of the Outdoor Swimming Society, on open water, fresh air, and the best wild swims!
What is it about slipping into the water, stretching out in it, being buoyed by it, and caressed by its watery warmth or chill, that can make us feel so wonderful and well?
What is it about doing all this out of doors, al fresco, in a natural or beautiful setting that makes going for a wild swim even better?
KATE REW, author, film maker, travel writer, and presenter for the BBC, has swum in many wild and beautiful places: lidos, lakes, rivers, oceans, and waterfalls.
Her book,
Wild Swim, lovingly written and beautifully photographed, takes the reader on a fabulous tour of awe-inspiring outdoor swimming locations.
