Patrick Holden, CBE, is an organic farmer and erstwhile director of the Soil Association.

As well as running a productive and long-established 250-acre mixed hill farm, he has now established The Sustainable Food Trust, is a member of a government food security working group, and an advisor to the Prince of Wales’ International Sustainability Unit.
