Professor Laurie Taylor and Emma Kennedy

Professor Laurie Taylor, the presenter of Radio 4’s Thinking Allowed, author of numerous books, popular sociologist, broadcaster, television panellist, and social commentator will range far and wide in thought-provoking discussion.

Emma Kennedy, prize-winning comedienne, actor in numerous roles in film and on television, and author of many books, the most recent of which, I Left My Tent in San Francisco, will come to the Festival hot off the press and help introduce a note of seriously-hot humour.

Both authors will not only be talking about their own work and writing and answering questions from the audience but will be judge supremos in the exciting Think Slam 2011.
