It was flappers, gangsters and all that jazz in Highworth today as the town celebrated May Day with a 1920s-themed market and entertainment.

As part of the annual tradition, the High Street was closed off so that hundreds of people could browse among stalls, eat & drink and enjoy May Pole dancing, the Green Man, Morris Men, live music, games and family fun in the market square.

Later on The Jo Farrell Band and BBQ at The Highworth Hotel kept the party in full swing.
