Swindon Festival of Literature gets underway with Dawn Chorus entertainment
As the sun rose over a sleepy Swindon yesterday, hundreds of early birds were gathering to see the arrival of the 23rd annual Swindon Festival of Literature.
Held high on a ridge in Lawn Woods, the traditional Dawn Chorus entertainment got underway from 5.30am with pipers, singers, storytellers, jugglers, poets, musicians, and outdoor entertainers all vying for the attention of the early rising festival goers!
