Old Town Christmas Lights
Paolo Di Canio lights up Wood Street
A big crowd enjoyed the start of Christmas in Old Town tonight, as special guest Paolo Di Canio turned on the lights in Wood Street.
The Swindon Town manager was joined by Cinderella from the Wyvern panto, the mayor and the Old Town Festival Carnival Queen as the countdown started at 7pm.
Late night shopping and entertainment
A circus-style fire show, jugglers, the Tanwood dancers and an appearance by Father Christmas all added to the festive atmosphere.
